| 12.2006: nothing says Christmas like a hot toddy and lacy lingerie. on December 5th, CBS aired the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. and much to the chagrin of American viewers, there was no sign of any manger or star of David in sight. the only babes that audiences saw were mr. timberlake’s dancers tastefully silhouetted behind the grandiose VERY SEXY marquee. a threesome of wisemen and the virgin mary perhaps, as Victoria secretly chanted the reason behind this season all the way down the Kodak Theatre runway: less is more, or more is uh, less. you be the judge. click here for photos from the performance. a hot toddy toast to Jermaine Browne and David Marquez for choreography. also, just finished shooting a Chevrolet national commercial. cheers to Peter Lang. and a big kiss to all who have made this year a very merry one. keep it classy 2007. 11.2006: just returned from a week in Hawaii where i danced for the Nike Asia media event. the sunsets were perfect, and our performance was on point. i even managed to swing on a moonlit hammock sipping paradise on the rocks avec mon amour. also recently visited Healdsburg where friend and writer, Scott Keneally’s Pirate Prom was held at his wench’s winery, Roshambo. i danced a peg legged banjo jig, walked the plank with grog in hand, and made the roshamblog. check photos at blog.roshambowinery.com. in the meantime i am back on the forefront and must reap the quid i’ve sowed. recent jobs include the Fuse Fangoria Awards with 30 Seconds to Mars choreographed by Tracy Phillips and Dominic Carbone and Nike Asia with Marlene Clayman. 10.2006: spring forward, fall back. it certainly has been a while…first off, here is London: home of the brash, outrageous, and free, stage combat, voice, movement, daggers and rapiers, oh yes! RADA was remarkable. the daily grind consisted of comedy, tragedy, sonnets, and of course, super strongbow. it was truly a life changing and not to mention humbling experience. i will be auditioning in the spring for next year’s eight week Shakespeare program. thank you mr che walker, sir william galinsky, lorna marshall, and sheila allen for unveiling Shakespeare’s genius. how does one sum up an entire summer abroad? oh let me count the ways… 05 & 06.2006: London calling to the faraway towns! it’s about that time. time to pack the bags, dig for the passport, and brush up on the British survival guide to road cycling signs and women traveling alone: no right turn from certain lanes, and legally a woman cannot carry any offensive weapons around, even in self-defense which include knives, coshes, guns or tear-gas; personal alarm systems are allowed. good to know. official date of departure is july 8th. cannot wait. may and june jobs included Getty Images shoot with Mike Powell, Nike Asia print campaign with photographer Chris Shipman, Levi’s spec commercial with choreographer Michael Rooney, upcoming film Jackass 2 with Michael Rooney and Spike Jonze, and national Toyota commercial. click here to see the Levi’s spot. super cool. did i mention i heart Michael Rooney? thank you for all the love. cheers mates. 10.2005: halloween came early this month, as i got a surprise costume fix from wardrobe on the set of Kevin Smith's sequel, "The Passion of the Clerks," which was a whole lot of pom pom and new jersey pigtail. thanks to choreographers Michael Rooney and Marty Kudelka, the two made me the best varsity cheerleader the garden state has seen in years. watch for flourescent orange and spirited split leaps in the short but sweet sequence coming soon. also did a quick shoot for Yahoo! and Melissa Masse again. her store's anniversary party will be held on november 17th. come celebrate and say hello. |
